What is skip tracing?
Skip tracing is the process of locating a debtor who has “skipped” or left town, hence the name “skip tracing.”
We can locate a witness, defendant or an additional party for the purpose of service of process, satisfaction of a court order, debt collection procedure or to satisfy a prerequisite for an asset search.
Skip tracing tactics may be employed by a skip tracer, debt collector or a process server, might seem like the work of a detective, but it is an important skill for qualified process servers. Whether a person does not want to be served or lives in an isolated location, it is common for process servers to require skip tracing in order to complete their serves successfully.
